What is Hospice
Hospice care is a commitment to quality of life for people who are experiencing an advanced, life-limiting illness. At Ascent, we care for a person who is expected to live about 6 months or less—where we treat the person and symptoms of the illness, rather than the illness itself. A team of expert professionals work together to ease symptoms, so a person’s last days may be spent with dignity and choice while surrounded by their loved ones.
